During the press conference on Monday 3 February 2020, the ADI Design Museum Compasso d ‘Oro was presented to the public, which will gather in Milan, starting from June 2020, the over 350 pieces awarded with the Compasso d’Oro award since its inception in 1954. Finally with great pride we announce what will become the space dedicated to Italian design, the new headquarters of ADI, the house of Italian design. The museum will be a dynamic space, constantly evolving and destined to tell the history of Italian design in its industrial, economic, cultural and social aspects: with a rotating exhibition of the Compasso d’Oro Collection, in-depth and thematic exhibitions as well as a gallery , always open for free to the city and its international guests. The museum’s project involves: Beppe Finessi, curator of the permanent exhibition Luca Molinari, curator of spatial relations Giulio Ceppi, curator of the accessibility program for the weaker sections of the user Ico Migliore, Mara Servetto, Italo Lupi, project for setting up the collections permanent and brand identity. An exciting enterprise for Italian design, presented in its supply chain, which ADI Association for Industrial Design is the concrete testimony. Good luck to all ADI and good luck to Italian design!
