From 6 to 8 November 2015, at the prestigious Palazzo Cavour in Turin will host the sixth edition of Operae, Independent Design Festival. To welcome visitors inside the room where they will attend for the talks, there will be the handcrafted chairs of Chiavari whose building tradition is kept alive by Fratelli Levaggi, since1963. Along the different models of chairs you will see the Chiavarina Supercolor, design for Fratelli Levaggi by Davide Conti now become an integral part of the company’s history. For the 2015 edition Operæ is enriched by the presence of Angela Rui, design critic and editor in the role of curator. She identified the theme “Here/now” as the framework through which to read the presente time and the key which to look at the exhibition. This year Opeae takes place in the first week of November, to coincide with Artissima Art Fair in the frame of the most important Italian event dedicated to contemporary arts “Contemporary Art Torino”.
