The Italian Design Day (IDD), promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation, in collaboration this year with ADI (Association for Industrial Design) and MIBAC, is an international event of global reach: in the same days in over 100 cities in the world 100 “ambassadors of Italian design“, including architects, entrepreneurs, journalists, teachers and above all, naturally, designers, propose an Italian vision of the construction of the future. This third edition 2019, dedicated to the theme Design and the city of the future will see the Ambassador of Italian design appointed for Shanghai in the designer Aldo Cibic will talk about: About Cities: Maybe more human than smart. The meeting, opened by the General Consul of Italy in Shanghai, Michele Cecchi, will take place, in the context of Design Shanghai 2019, at the Shanghai Exhibition Center and will see Davide Conti present for the entire event that will take place from 6 to 9 March 2019. At the discussion, moderated by Roberto Pagani, Scientific Attaché at the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, will participate Wei Shaonong (Dean, School of Design, East China Normal University) and Zhao Huasen (Associate Professor, College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University).
