On 25 November 2019, the first edition of IDM – Italian Design Masterclass 2019 in Shanghai was successfully concluded. IDM course designed by Davide Conti and co-organized with the support of SPCCD – Shanghai Promotion Center for City of Design in Shanghai, has been joined as academic partner the Poli.Design for the individual lessons, in partnership with the Italian government agency ITA-ICE of Shanghai, SINA Home as exclusive media partner, and from the Shanghai Municipal Education Comission Science & Technology Development Center of Shanghai, the graphics of the activity was instead design by Elia Gardella from Horse Chicken Factory. Peculiarity of the course is the partnership with 15 world-famous Italian companies, which they will be protagonists during the lessons and will support the professors to create a lesson with a unique value for the chinese students. These are 15 companies that have agreed to join the IDM19 program as partner; Alcantara, Antoniolupi, Arflex, Bisazza, Daytona, Iris Ceramica Group, Longhi, Moroso, Poltrona Frau, Rimadesio, Savio Firmino, Scavolini, Technogym, Valcucine, and Viabizzuno. On 25 November 2019, after the last lesson and the delivery of the certificates to the students, a convivial dinner of greetings and networks was organized, between companies and professionals where at the same time IDM 2020 edition was launched.
