"Dieci" is a modular bed solution. It is conceived in Ecomat, 100% recyclable material obtained from recycled olive pomace, residual of olive oil processing, produced by Ecoplan.
This special project includes a minimum of 4 beds, up to a maximum of 10, all into the space of a bunk bed. It can also contain drowers, bookshelves, desks, foldable chairs and so on. It is designed forlimited space places where a number of beds may be needed, such as mountine-houses or huts, studioflats etc.; it can also be placed in barracks, refuges for people in need, such as for populations that are victims of natural catastrophes such as earthquakes or tsunamis.
Moreover, the closed module can be easily shipped via earth, sea or air, thanks to its precise geometrical shape, helping reduce the extra shipping costs. It can be entirely disassembled and re-assembled as necessary.
In 2010 it is awarded a prize at the second edition of the "Be-eco" national contest published by Expò Casa, and it is selected for the first edition of the "Creativita'' Sostenibile" (Sustainable Creativity) contest published by Ortofabbrica.
