Mostra Compasso d’Oro “L’ intelligenza della bellezza” e ADI Codex Ningbo Zhejiang, Cina

The design project of two rooms to the Museum Hefeng Art Center of Design was born from the necessary to show in the best of way the first historical exhibition of the Compasso d''Oro in China entitled "The intelligence of beauty" and the first exhibition of the products and project of ADI Codex Ningbo, Zhejiang, China 2014. The first room, which is spread over 150 square meters was designed to accommodate the panels and products-projects of 63 companies identified and selected in the first ADI Codex Ningbo, Zhejiang, China 2014. The panels and the products placed in alphabetical order followed by a guided tour that takes visitors to access the second hall at the Compasso d''Oro. The significance of access to the exhibition only after the Compasso d''Oro was thought to would imply a kind of metaphor, what we find in China today and what you might find in the future if China would turn his gaze to originality and design quality. Accessing by two steps to the second room of the Museum of 250 square meters we enter in the space and meet 30 pieces of the historical collection of the Compasso d''Oro ranging from 1954 to 2011, curated by Enrico Morteo. For a better understanding of Chinese visitors the products have been placed all inside in a guided tour, which is broken in half by a large panel depicting "The Great River of Italian Design" created by Giovanni Cutolo, which clearly explains how both the system of Italian design. 34 panels that follow the products where representatives all the winning projects of the Compasso d''Oro from 1956 to the present. The white color predominant in the halls, in addition, try to brighten the rooms do not compromise the correct reading of the exibitions.

The two exhibitions are accompanied by a catalog, for the Compasso d''Oro ( editorial project : Giovanni Cutolo - graphic design : Daniele Ledda, Edda Bracchi, Xycomm - Milan - Editorial Coordination : Dario Moretti, Davide Conti - translation : Huang Yanting Han Zhenli, Gian Shenjie ) and the book of the ADI Codex Ningbo Zhejiang China 2014 ( editor and editorial coordination : Davide Conti - editor: Davide Conti, Alice Cottali , Giuliana Gheza, Jing Zhang - graphic design : Davide Conti, Alice Cottali, Giuliana Gheza - translation : Han Zhenli, Shenjie Qian, Wang Tianxao )
