On Friday, April 13th in DoBe WE“@Bund space in Shanghai, Davide Conti will introduce the best of Italian designs awarded by ADI Compasso d’ Oro Award
in the past 60 years. ADI since 1956 has a leading role in the development of the industrial design as a cultural and economic phenomenon.

Established in 1954, ADI Compasso d’Oro Award is the oldest and most influential international design award in the world. With a Decree dated 22 April 2004, the Historical Collection of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award become an “of exceptional artistic and historical interest” and its included it in Italy’s national heritage. Davide Conti, general manager of ADI in China, has collaborated with Chinese partners on projects related to the internationalization of ADI. The projects actively contributed to the promotion and development of projects between the Italian and Chinese world of design.

The institutions include Shanghai Tongji University, Genoa University, Polytechnic of Milan and other private institute in Europe and China. The speech of Davide Conti will touch the history of the italian association, the history of some of the best winners of ADI Compasso d” Oro, the new international ADI Compasso d” Oro International Award and the next challenge for ADI in Milan with the new headquarter.
